CAMBRIA TOWNSHIP (WTVB) – Three Reading residents were injured Tuesday afternoon in a two vehicle crash which took place at the intersection of Bankers and Sand Lake Roads in Hillsdale County’s Cambria Township.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department says the crash happened at about 4:10 p.m. when a 2013 Nissan driven by 64-year-old Raymond Dean Burlew collided with a 2018 Kawasaki Mule driven by 75-year-old Ronald Dean Adams.
Adams was flown out by West Michigan Air Care to Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo. Burlew was flown by Life Flight to ProMedica Mercy Saint Vincent’s Hospital in Toledo.
A passenger in the Nissan, 64-year-old Virginia Fern Burlew, was taken by ambulance to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital.
The Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the crash which shut down the intersection for nearly three hours.
