Edward W. Keller, 86, of Coldwater, passed away Monday, June
17, 2019 at Grand Vista Assisted Living.
A graveside service with military honors will be held
Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Fort Custer National Cemetery in
Augusta. Arrangements are being cared
for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Edward was born July 24, 1932 in Tekonsha, MI to Edward E.
& Audrey (Loomis) Keller. He served
in the US Navy from 1951 – 1955. He married Myrna (Cude) Schroll on February
28, 1977. She preceded him in death on August 5, 2012.
Mr. Keller worked 12 years at Schuler’s Cheese Factory and
for 20 years at Branch County Federal / Monarch Community Bank, from which he
retired. He was an active member of Northview Christian Church where he
volunteered with maintenance at the church. Ed was an avid Detroit Tigers fan
and loved to go fishing. He enjoyed
tumbling rocks and could amazingly spot the best rocks in their raw form.
Ed is survived by his children Arlene Coburn of Homer, Andi
(John) Beauchamp of Lancaster, KY, John (Ila) Schroll of Coldwater, Peg (Ron)
Grim of Battle Creek, Greg (Lori) Schroll of Battle Creek and many grand and
great grandchildren. In addition to his
wife, he was preceded in death by his son.
