COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The 2018 Tibbits Summer Theatre performance of “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder” has been nominated for two Encore Michigan Wilde Awards, which are Michigan’s professional theatre equivalent of the Tony Awards.
Along with a nomination for Best Musical, Tibbits company member Brian Sage has been nominated as Best Supporting Actor in Musical.
Each August, Encore Michigan recognizes the best performances and productions of the previous season. This year’s Wilde Awards ceremony is scheduled for August 26 at The Hilberry Theatre in Detroit.
Tibbits Summer Theatre’s 2019 season opens Thursday with Ken Ludwig’s “Be My Baby”.
The season will also feature the musicals “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” and “West Side Story” along with the comedy “See How They Run”.
