BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Bronson High School senior Brett Sikorski has been named the 2019 Big 8 Conference Baseball Most Valuable Player.
Sikorski had an ERA of 0.23 as the Vikings went 14-0 to win the Big 8 Conference championship. Bronson won 29 games this season and got all the way to the Super Regional round of the Michigan High School Athletic Association Division Three baseball tournament.
Also making the Big 8 Conference First Team were Kameron Haviland, Blaine Robinson and Brendan Withington from Bronson, Caleb McCavit and Logan Banks of Quincy, along with Larson Kever and Brady Katz of Union City.
Named Honorable Mention were earned by Ryan Wisman, Hudson Wotta, Mason Harris, Dylan Smith and Gavin Preston of Bronson, Brendan Stuchell and Kyle Johnson of Union City, along with Matt Hagaman and Chandler Locke of Quincy.
