COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Early Bird Exchange Club Healing Hill of Hope will once again this year honor Branch County children who have been abused or neglected.
The fourth annual flag placement ceremony will take place June 27 at 11:00 a.m. at the Naomi Davis Shelterhouse on North Michigan Avenue in Coldwater. The flags will then fly throughout the month of July.
Patsy Karbon, who is Early Bird Exchange chairperson for the local Healing Hill organizing committee, says each flag represents a reported case of child abuse.
This event along with the 31st Annual Independence Day 5K Run July 4 will support local child abuse prevention programs.
