“Bud” Milton Orrin Jolliff , 86, of Coldwater went into the loving arms of Jesus on Wednesday June 19, 2019 in the evening surrounded by his wife. He died from complications of Pick’s Disease.
The family is being served by Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation of Union City.
Bud’s life will be celebrated on Friday June 28, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Heritage Hall in Heritage Park 1776 Heritage Dr. Coldwater, Michigan and is open to all.
Bud was born November 24, 1932 to Alfred Beck Jolliff and Irma McQuaid in Pharisburg, OH. He graduated from Magnetic Springs High School where he met his high school sweetheart Jo Anne. Soon after, the two were married and moved to Michigan to start their lives together in 1951.
Bud began hauling vehicles for E&L and worked as a car hauler until his retirement. Besides being a hard working employee, he was a wonderful father and friend.
He committed many years to serving as Head Master of his local Masonic Lodge. Bud was a member of the Eagles, and always enjoyed having coffee and socializing with his many friends weekly.
He loved teaching his children and grandchildren how to work on his many antique cars, boats and other fast toys. He enjoyed teaching them a wide variety of valuable things about life, hard work, follow through and loyalty. Bud and his wife Jo Anne also enjoyed traveling the world.
Bud is survived by his wife of 68 years, Jo Anne Jolliff; his son, Gary Jolliff and wife Linda; his son David Jolliff; his daughter and son-in-law Bill and Sandra Blanchard; his sister, Jerry Brunton; his sister, Jo Esta Whipple; his six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, with two on the way.
He was preceded in death by five sisters: Janice, Judith, Jean, Joy, and Julie.
