BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Board of Education approved one-and-a-half percent pay raises for the upcoming school year Monday night for members of the Bronson Education Association, support staff, and administrators.
The pay raises for B.E.A. members cover the final year of a three year contract which expires in June of 2020.
The 2019-2020 pay increases were previously approved by B.E.A. members.
Bronson Superintendent Rick Hilderly is hoping contract negotiations with the B.E.A. can start earlier during the upcoming school year since the current deal expires in a year.
