Mary L. Burlew, 58, of Quincy, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019 at the Marshall Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born April 16, 1961 in Battle Creek to Beverly Herbert “Bill” and Esther Lorraine (Lampman) Cotton Jr, and he survives. She married John Burlew on April 22, 1986 and he survives.
Mary graduated from Quincy High School in 1979. She was an avid reader and also loved to sing, write poetry and go fishing.
Surviving besides her husband and father are three daughters, Aimee (Brittany) Bird of and Diane and Katharina Burlew, all of Quincy; sister, Jenifer (Dustin Green) McLain of Bronson, Steven Cotton of Fort Wayne and David (Shirley) Cotton of Tower, MN; her beloved dog, Casey; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Esther; daughter, Elizabeth (Burlew) Osborne and grandson, William Silverhawk.
A celebration of life for Mary Burlew will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.
