Evelyn L. Yearling, 91, of Coldwater, passed away Monday, July 8, 2019 at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility in Coldwater.
Funeral services for Evelyn Yearling will be held Monday, July 15, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Coldwater with Rev. Rick Twenhafel officiating. Interment will be Monday at 2:00 P.M. at West Reading Cemetery.
The family will receive friends for visitation Sunday, July 14, 2019 from 1-4 PM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.
She was born June 14, 1928 to Purl and Lucille (Robinson) Donbrock in Algansee Township. The second of three daughters.
She graduated from Reading High School and then began her career at Southern Michigan Bank & Trust which spanned 40 years.
Evelyn was proud to be baptized, confirmed and married at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hillsdale, MI.
She was a charter member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Quincy. She served as the treasurer for many years. Evelyn enjoyed sharing her time and talents at church.
Survivors include her daughters, Kathy (Terry) Modert of Coldwater and Julie Yearling (Rod Shafer) of Battle Creek; son, Kirk (Sharon Curtis) Yearling of Coldwater; grandchildren, Staci (Michael) Ballard of Battle Creek, Aaron (Jennifer) Lawrence of Coldwater and Garrett Curtis of Birmingham, AL.; great-grandchildren, Makenna, Delaney, Lauren, Sydney, Aadisyn and Jack; brother-in-law, Robert Holloway; and sister-in-law, Carol Yearling.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Bradley; parents, Paul and Lucille Donbrock; and sisters, Helen Anderson and Elaine Holloway.
