Jacquelyn “Jackie” L. Iveson, 81, of Coldwater, passed away Friday, July 19, 2019 at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility in Coldwater.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July, 24, 2019,
11:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Coldwater with Pastor Dave Pierce
officiating. Visitation will take place from 10:00 until 11:00 AM prior to the
memorial service at the church.
The family is being cared for by Dutcher
Funeral Home in Coldwater.
Jackie was born on October 20, 1937 to John and Thelma M.
(Smith) Flint in Algansee Township. She married Larry L. Iveson on January 1,
1960 and he preceded her in death on March 8, 2016.
Jackie worked as a cosmetology instructor at Branch County
ISD for 10 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Coldwater and of
Beta Sigma Phi. She enjoyed visiting and talking with family and friends, her
dog, playing cards, yard work and being a good cook. She will be fondly
remembered for always being friendly, happy, laughing, busy and full of energy.
She is survived by her children; Michael (Robin) Iveson of
Coldwater and Cheryl Iveson of Grand Rapids, her grandchildren; Benjamin Iveson
(Bri) and Samuel Iveson, her great grandchild; Zeke Iveson, her siblings;
Roselee (Doug) Miller of Litchfield and Linda (Dan) Osborn of Battle Creek. She
is also survived by her dog Stub and many nieces and nephews.
Jackie was
preceded in death by her parents, her husband Larry, her brothers Richard,
Howard and John Flint and her sister Barbara Daglow.
