COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A 60-year-old motorcyclist from Union City was injured late Wednesday afternoon when he collided with a turning car at the intersection of North Fiske and Newton Roads.
The crash was reported at about 5:15 p.m..
Michigan State Police say a 40-year-old man from Albion failed to yield the right of way as his Ford Crown Victoria was making a left turn from Fiske to Newton.
The motorcycle struck the passenger side of the car, which disabled the bike.
The name of the injured motorcyclist was not released. He was taken to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital for treatment.
Life Care Ambulance and Coldwater firefighters also responded to the scene.
