COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Merannda Russell and Bryce Bucklin were crowned as the 2019 Branch County Fair Queen and King Sunday night at the Dearth Community Center.
Russell is the daughter of Mike and Ginger Russell. She is a 11 year 4-H member with the Boots and Jeans Club. Russell is studying to become a physical therapist at Jackson Community College. She had competed in many areas with horses being her favorite.
Bucklin’s parents are Steve and Jessica Bucklin. He is an eight year 4-H member and is currently with the Kinderhook 4-H Group. After graduating this past June from Bronson High School, Bucklin plans to attend Kellogg Community College and study agronomy. He has exhibited both swine and sheep for the past seven years and has been a member of the Branch Area Careers Center’s F.F.A. chapter for three years.
Other members of this year’s court are Asya Modert, Shelby Souva and Ryan Murphy.
