Judy Ann Pitchford, 66, of Union City, passed away at home on Monday, August 5, 2019 under the care of Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the Union City Wesleyan Church fellowship hall, located at 202 St. Joseph Street, Union City, MI 49094. Pastor Marty Burdick will officiate.
A fundraiser meal will immediately follow at the church from 4:30 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
Judy was born on February 22, 1953 to Freeland and Madge Collins. She resided for many years in Jackson, but spent the last 20 years living in Union City, where she attended the Wesleyan and Assembly of God churches.
Judy worked in retail as a cashier. She enjoyed her pet bird, making crafts, shopping, braiding hair, attending family gatherings and listening to her police scanner.
Survivors include her siblings, Don Collins of Union City and Tammy Duncan of Union City; an uncle, Otto Collins of Burlington; her daughter; two grandchildren; her niece and caregiver, Misty Myers of Union City; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings: Lois Gordon, Deon Collins and her twin brother, Jerry Collins.
