COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Athletic fields around Branch County will get busy Monday as high school fall sports athletes in Michigan start practicing for the upcoming seasons.
Monday is first day of practice and tryouts for football, girls golf, boys soccer and boys tennis.
The Coldwater Tennis Team starts practice on Monday evening at 6:00 p.m.. Coach Ron LaBelle says anyone can play. No experience is necessary and there will be no cuts. Players must have a physical before they can participate.
The first day of practice and tryouts for girls volleyball and girls swimming and diving will be Wednesday.
By the way, the Coaches Corner will return to AM 1590 and FM 95.5 WTVB Monday, August 19.
