Carmel S. Roberts, 57, of Bronson, passed away Sunday,
August 11, 2019 at Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence in Battle Creek.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, August 15, 2019
at 11:00 AM at Dutcher Funeral Home in Bronson with Pastor Jim Erwin and
Evangelist Mike Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Trayer Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 14, 2019 from 4-8:00 PM at Dutcher Funeral
Home in Bronson.
Carmel was born April 22, 1962 in Sturgis, MI to Gordon
& Suette (Rinehart) Burnside. She was a dedicated daughter, mother and
homemaker and worked for a short time at the Tyson chicken factory in Orland,
IN.
Carmel was a member of Bethel Gilead Church and had also
attended the Church of Christ at Bronson. She belonged to TOPS and enjoyed the
art of collecting. Carmel had a love of the French culture, especially Paris,
France. Most of all she adored her family
and treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren.
Carmel is survived by her children Chris (Jodi) Lytle, Heather
Lytle and Kim Lytle all of Bronson, her mother Suette Burnside of Bronson, her
brother Bart Burnside of Bronson, her grandchildren Camdyn, Grace, Lauren and
Clayton and nieces and nephew Ashley Butters of Reading, Kaysie Burnside of
Adrian and Reuben Burnside of Fruitport.
She was preceded in death by her
father and her brother Brent Burnside.
Memorials may be directed to the Glenn Arbor Hospice
Residence or the Bethel Gilead Church Missionary Fund.
