SHERWOOD, MI (WTVB) – A K-9 unit from the Michigan State Police had to be brought in to find a suspect following a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Sherwood Road Sunday.
State Police say the suspect had injured himself and fled on foot.
A successful K-9 track led to the apprehension of the suspect in a nearby field.
The suspect was then taken to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital for a self-inflected injury.
The Michigan Department of Natural resources and Life Care Ambulance also assisted State Police during this incident.
