UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) -Detectives for the Branch County Sheriff’s Department are continuing to investigate an apparent hit and run accident which injured a 66-year-old bicyclist last Thursday morning at Union City and Cady Roads.
Detectives are said to be following up on a couple of leads.
The Branch County Sheriff’s Department says the injured Coldwater man has returned home after being released from the hospital. He was flown by AirCare to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo after he was struck.
Police were looking last week for a red or maroon colored pickup truck with passenger side damage that may have been driven by an elderly man with white hair. It was last seen heading east on Union City Road.
