COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Nearly $7,000 was raised July 13 during the ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital Foundation 5K Walk/Run to Fight Hunger. All funds raised will help support Back Pack Buddies, Branch Area Food Pantry and ProMedica Coldwater Food Program.
Back Pack Buddies provides backpacks to children in need with food for the weekend. The Branch Area Food Pantry provides food to Branch County residents in need. The ProMedica Coldwater Food Program, modeled after ProMedica’s Toledo Hospital program, helps identify food insecurities for their patients.
Sponsors for the fundraising event included the Presenting Sponsor Coldwater Sintered Metal Products.
