Marilyn Grace Pascoe, 90 of Coldwater passed away
Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at the Laurels of Coldwater.
A memorial service will take place at 11:00 am on
Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Coldwater with Pastor
Aaron Chitick officiating.
Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at
10:00 am. Burial will also be Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Wilson (Lawrence) Cemetery.
Marilyn was born April 16, 1929 to Marlin and Erdine
(Quimby) Donbrock in Ovid Township. She was a 1947 Coldwater High School
graduate. Marilyn began her working career at Southern Michigan Bank before
moving to the First of America Bank in Quincy, spending 35 years between the
two banks. She worked her last five years with Michigan Gas before retiring.
Marilyn was married to Robert Parker in 1949 and he preceded her in death in
1962. In 1964 she met and married Donald “Gene” Pascoe. He preceded her in
death on June 25, 2012.
Marilyn was a woman of strong faith and a long-time
member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She was a private woman who enjoyed going
shopping or to the casino with family or close friends.
Mrs. Pascoe is survived by her grandchildren Kaycee
(Carl) Sevidal of Coldwater and Larry (Michelle) Parker of Havelock, NC; her
great grandchildren Makayla and Jacob Parker of Havelock, NC; her brother Merle
(Elizabeth) Donbrock of Coldwater; and several nieces & nephews.
She was
preceded in death by her parents; both her husbands’ Robert Parker and Gene
Pascoe; her children Larry Parker, Robert Parker, and Linda Thatcher; and her
sisters Carlene Hunker and Donna Vance.
