COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Coldwater man charged in sexual assault of a preteen girl in February 2018 entered a guilty plea to second degree criminal sexual conduct Thursday in Branch County Circuit Court.
60-year-old Duane Woellert is scheduled to be sentenced on October 7, 2019 on a charge of second degree criminal sexual conduct.
The original charge of first degree CSC will be dismissed by prosecutors.
Coldwater Police say the incident involving a girl under the age of 13 took place in Woellert’s apartment on West State Street.
