Robert
Lee Snyder, 80, of Quincy, went to be with the Lord Saturday, August 24, 2019.
He was born September 10, 1938 to Myron Robert and Mary Fern (Peters) Snyder in
Grabill, IN. Robert married Roberta (McAllister-Noud) on January 2, 2003.
Robert
was dedicated to serving God with his community service and servants
heart. Much of his time and energy was in collection and
redistribution of clothing and other items through Master Provision. He attended two mission trips to South Africa,
and for over 20 years was instrumental in collection, packing and shipping
container loads of bibles and Christian education material for the South
AfricanChristian Mission. Robert
graduated from Coldwater High School in 1956 and later retired from the State
of Michigan as a Residential Caregiver. He was a lifelong member of
Northview Christian Church in Coldwater, MI and was a volunteer and board
member at Lake James Christian Assembly, Angola, IN.
Robert
is survived by his wife, Roberta; sister, Lynda Camerson, Quincy; brothers,
Edward (JoBeth) Snyder and David (Susan) Snyder of Coldwater; daughters, Denise (Roberto) Diaz of Lansing, Que (John) Hisel of Sturgis, Lesa (Dave) Winn of
Coldwater and son, Tim Owens of Quincy; stepchildren, David (Tammie) Noud of
Florida and Steven (Christal) Noud of Quincy, Lisa (Mark) Lipscomb of Alabama; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and many
friends.
He
was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter; two sisters; two brothers;
one sister-in-law; two brother-in-laws; one granddaughter; and one nephew.
Funeral
services for Robert Snyder will be held Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 11:00 A.M.
at Northview Christian Church with Pastor Jeff Bream officiating.
Interment will take place at Knauss Cemetery at 3 P.M. following the
luncheon. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until the time of service at
the church.
It was Robert’s
request, that in lieu of flowers, please donate bibles to South African

. A collection
bin will be available at the church for donated bibles brought to the funeral
service.
