COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – At the request of Pansophia Academy and Acting Public Safety Director Joe Scheid, the Coldwater City Council approved a resolution Monday night which will prohibit parking on both sides of Elizabeth Street between Morse and North Hudson during the times students are heading to and leaving the school.
City Manager Keith Baker said school officials hope the parking restrictions on Elizabeth will lead to increased safety for students and pedestrians as they will be more visible to drivers.
The parking restrictions on Elizabeth will be in effect from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The area affected is where buses and parents drop off and pick up students for the academy.
