COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater City Manager Keith Baker provided updates on a four street construction projects that are currently ongoing in the city during Monday night’s City Council meeting.
Work is underway on the Garfield Avenue Drain Project and weather permitting, is expected to take a couple of weeks. The project is intended to help alleviate flooding in the area during heavy rain events.
Baker said final underground work is being completed on the South Jefferson Street Reconstruction Project. The remaining curb and gutter work is scheduled to take place next week with paving scheduled for the week of September 9, 2019.
He added that paving for the Thompson Blvd. Construction Project is scheduled to be completed next wek.
Paving is also scheduled to be completed next week on Hatch, Henry and East Washington Street.
