Bill G. Snider, 81, of Coldwater, went to be with Jesus on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility.
Cremation has been provided by Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation of Union City.
“Mr. Bill,” as he was affectionately known by, was born on July 22, 1938 in Pinedale, MS. His father was Richard Eugene Snider and his mother was Katherine Smitherman. He had three brothers, Carl, Cordie Bruce and Marvin, and three sisters, Fay Snider, Sarah Snow, Anne Snider.
Bill worked on a cotton farm before he moved to Holland, MI. He worked in several furniture factories and a boat factory, Murray Chris-Craft. He was married to Nell Baine and then to Dorothy Snider.
Bill is survived by his children, Bill Russell Snider of Louisiana, Jane Jorgensen of Michigan and June Harrison of North Carolina; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his siblings, Marvin Snider, Sarah Snow and Anne Snider; and his friends and neighbors, Marcia and Ronald Allison of Coldwater.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Carl and Cordie Bruce, and one sister, Fay.
