TEMPERANCE, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson High School girls volleyball team finished third at the Temperance Bedford Tournament Friday in a tournament that featured eight ranked teams.
In pool play, the Vikings defeated Chelsea (25-23, 25-16) and Battle Creek St. Philip (25-10, 25-23). In the gold division quarterfinals, Bronson defeated West Michigan Christian (20-25, 25-20, 17-15).
They lost in the semifinals to tournament champion Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central (11-25, 21-25).
Bronson’s record is now 8-2.
Viking leaders included Alanna Mayer with nine aces and 10 blocks, Jaydn Cary with 26 digs, Meagan Lasky with 109 assists, and Keona Salesman with 53 kills
