QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – A person said to be about 30-years-old was flown to a hospital by helicopter Tuesday morning following a crash at Jonesville and Squires Roads along the Branch-Hillsdale County line.
The Branch County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the crash which was reported at about 6:30 a.m..
The accident victim was trapped in the vehicle and the Coldwater Fire Department had to be called in to assist Quincy firefighters.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department and the Michigan State Police also assisted with traffic control as a landing zone had to be set up for the medical helicopter.
Rescue crews cleared the scene just after 8:00 a.m.
