COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In high school swimming and diving Tuesday, Coldwater lost their home opener to Battle Creek Lakeview 118-67 at the Browne Aquatic Center.
Jillian McKinley qualified for her second state cut, in only her second meet of the season in the 200 Individual Medley. Legend Szafranski broke the team record in the 200 Freestyle.
All four Coldwater divers earned a win towards the four needed to qualify for regionals in the one meter dive. Leah Goodwin was 1st, Mia Rzepka was 2nd, Layla Schoch finished 3rd, and Avery Boyce was 4th.
Coldwater swims their next meet in Mattawan next Tuesday at 6:00 p.m..
