COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The North Woods Coffee Company in downtown Coldwater is apparently making a comeback.
After it closed in February 2018, the new operators of the business in the old J.B. Branch building at 34 West Chicago Street said in a Facebook post Thursday that they plan to reopen in October.
The new North Woods Coffee Company will be operated by Kim Neitzka and Lisa Linville.
The Facebook post said “We are offering more than just coffee— we have speciality drinks, sandwiches, wraps, gluten free foods, salads & soups. We are providing you not only with an memorable service but also a cozy environment.”
Loyalty cards will also be offered and there are plans for a grand opening.
The location of the North Woods Coffee Company has been empty since it closed almost 19 months ago. The management at the time said they closed due to finances and the state of the building.
At one time, it was thought Jalisco’s Grocery would be occupying the space, but they opted to move to the former Salvation Army building across the street.
