MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater High School boys tennis team suffered their first loss of the season as they were beaten by Marshall 5-1 Wednesday. Two of the matches were suspended due to lightning.

No. 4 singles Ryan Sturgeon lost to Jonah Benson 6-2, 6-1
No. 1 doubles Josh Small/Luke Larr lost to Shea Morgan/Adrew Stetler 6-4, 7-5
No. 2 doubles Grey Skudlarick/Sam Westgate lost to Will Huepenbecker/Roy Melluish 6-4, 6-3
No. 3 doubles Lu Lebron/Jett Galloway lost to Jerome Korton/Cameron Nessel 6-1, 6-2
No. 4 doubles Pedro Vazquez/Alex Hartman lost to Jack Tekiele/Paul Butterfield 6-1, 6-3
Coldwater is now 7-1 on the season and 1-1 in the Interstate 8.
