COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In girls high school volleyball Wednesday, Coldwater rolled past Hastings 3-0 in Interstate 8 Conference action (25-11, 25-16, 25-15).
Abby Herman led the Cardinals had 10 kills. McDonald’s Player of the Match Olivia Foley had five kills and four aces with a serve percentage of 96 percent.
Coldwater won the underclassmen matches. The freshman scored a 2-1 victory (25-16, 24-26, 15-5)
Eliza Douglas led the team in serving, with 6 aces, as well as 3 digs and 2 kills, Hatlee Porter led the team in digs with 5, along with 4 aces and 2 kills, Kassidy Shaw had 4 kills, and Abigail Jones had 6 assists.
The Coldwater JV’s won 2-0 (25-16, 25-19)
Violet Walkte led the team in assist with 5 as well as 4 digs and 5 aces, Maddie Earl led the team in kills with 5 and 3 aces, Kendyll Szafranski led the team with 2 aces and 6 digs, and Brooke Moore added 3 kills
