COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater Board of Public Utilities Director Jeff Budd has announced some personnel changes.
An Apprentice Lineman vacancy has been filled by Bryce Withington who began work at the CBPU August 28, 2019.. He is a Bronson High School graduate and obtained his certificate in the Electrical Utility/Lineworker Program from Lansing Community College.
Meanwhile, Brandon Philson has been promoted to the position of Substation/Process Technician. He has been with the CBPU since August 2015.
Philson will be taking on additional duties within the substations itself, but will also be responsible for working on all CBPU department electrical systems.
Matt Metz has also been promoted to the position of Utility Maintenance Mechanic. He worked at the Michigan South Central Power Agency for nine years.
With this promotion, Metz’s primary responsibility will be maintaining all pumps and mechanical equipment serving the water and wastewater systems.
