COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Police Department is looking into what is being called a suspicious situation which took place Friday morning involving a 10-year-old on East Washington Street.
Interim Director of Public Safety Joe Scheid says the youngster was walking to his bus stop at about 7:30 a.m. when a man in a car asked him to get in and said they would go to the fair.
The frightened boy ran to the bus stop and reported the incident to the bus driver. When the boy got to school, the principal called police about the situation.
The suspect vehicle is said to be a black car with tinted windows and black wheels. It could possibly be a P.T. Cruiser.
The suspect is described as a clean shaven white male with black hair and a tattoo of flames on his right arm.
