PARMA, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Legg Middle School volleyball teams played at Parma Western Tuesday night.
The 8th grade A team lost 25-27, 17-25, 15-13. Leading the team serving was Caroline Miller with 8 points, 4 aces, Hailey Price with 8 points, and Kennedy Clemens-Kulpinski with 5 points, 1 aces. Kenzie Scheid lead the team with 3 kills, and Hailey Price, Olivia Uren, and Izzie Pool with one kill each.
The 8th grade B team also lost to Parma Western 25-22, 22-25 and 5-15. Leading the Lady Cards was Yarsibel Martinez 10/11, 6 aces, 2digs, Gabby Bookmyer 6/6, 1 ace, 3 digs, Kaylee Slusarski 5/7, 3 aces, 6 digs, Jossy Martinez 4/6, 3 aces, Emma Frey 4 digs, KayDence Wing 4/5, 5 digs, and Lizzy Wainscot with 3 digs.
The 7th grade A team defeated Parma Western 25-19, 25-18, 6-15. On the night Coldwater was led at the service line by Eli Foley 8-8 with 4 aces & 4 kills, Grace Riley 10-11 with 5 aces, Claire Hawver 7-8 with 1 ace, Dakota Allen 5-5, Alexis Rock 4-6, Avery Paarlberg & Ava Longstreet both went 3-5.
The 7th grade B team lost to Parma Western 18-25, 25-21 and 11-15. Drew Sharpley led the team serving with 12 points, 7aces and 2 digs. Ava Schoenauer 6 points with 2 aces, Lexi Scott 5 points and Norah VanWagner 4 points. McKinley Kirk 2 points and one dig.
