UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – Due to concerns about the spread of Eastern Equine Encephalitis, Union City’s home football game with Reading this Friday night will start at 5:00 p.m.. This also happens to coincide with Union City’s Team of Fame evening and introduction of inductees. The team of fame induction will be held at halftime as previously scheduled.
Quincy’s J.V. and Varsity football games with Homer have also had time changes. The J.V. game Thursday and the varsity game Friday will both start at 5:30 p.m..
In order to cut down on mosquito bites, health officials have urged outdoor evening activities be postponed, rescheduled or cancelled.
