COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Fremont, Indiana man who was charged last fall with sexually assaulting and videotaping a passed out woman was sentenced Monday in Branch County Circuit Court after he entered guilty pleas last month to four counts.
30-year-old Bradley Renner was placed on probation for five years and sentenced to 12 months in jail after he admitted his guilt to charges of fourth degree criminal sexual conduct, larceny, possession of a non-narcotic drug, and eavesdropping.
Four other charges, including three counts of third degree criminal sexual conduct, were dismissed by prosecutors in exchange for his guilty pleas.
Renner was ordered to register as a sex offender in Michigan. He can not have any alcohol, drugs or weapons during his time on probation and he has to stay out of bars. Renner was given credit for 319 days already served in jail.
The Michigan State Police investigated the incidents in March and April 2018.
