COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater will be one of the stops this month for an education and outreach session put on by the State of Michigan’s Marijuana Regulatory Agency.
The sessions are designed to promote and encourage participation in the licensed marijuana market.
The session in Coldwater will take place Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Henry L. Brown Municipal Building.
While attendance is free, space is limited. Interested participants need to register on line at the MRA’s web site which is http://bit.ly/MRA-SE-Events.
Another session will take place at the Albion District Library on October 24 at 10:00 a.m.
The sessions will cover the social equity program and the application and licensure process.
By taking part in the program, qualifying applicants can get a reduction of up to 60% off the application fee, the initial license fee and future renewal fees.
Applications can be submitted to the MRA after November 1, 2019.
