JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Legg Middle School 8th grade A volleyball team defeated Jackson Lumen Christi Thursday night by scores of 25-2, 25-22, 15-4.
Leading the team serving was Kennedy Clemens-Kulpinski with 24 points, 10 aces. Kenzie Scheid lead the team with 3 kills, and Payton McBride and Jaelah Sloan with 2 kills each.
Legg Middle School’s 8th grade girls volleyball B team dropped all three games at Lumen Christi Thursday night 25-27, 9-25, & 12-15.
Leading the Lady Cards was Yarsibel Martinez 14/14, 8 aces, 2digs, Kayleigh Boyd 7/10, 3 aces, 1 kill, and Lizzy Wainscot 3/3, 3 digs.
The Legg Middle School 7th grade A volleyball team lost to Lumen Christi 25-15, 25-9, 9-15.
On the night Coldwater was led at the service line by Dakota Allen 9-9 with 1 ace, Alexis Rock 6-6 with 2 aces, Emily Riley 7-8 with 2 aces, Eli Foley 4-5 with 1 ace, Claire Hawver 2-3 with 1 ace & Ava Longstreet 2-4.
The A team record now stands at 6-4-1.
The Legg Middle School 7th grade B volleyball team lost 15-25, 10-25 to Lumen Christi. Drew Sharpley led the team serving with 6 points. Macy Stanton, Harper Cummings and Lexi Scott each with one point. Maddylan Dixon with one kill.
