MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater finished fifth at the Interstate 8 Boys Tennis Conference Tournament on Friday which was hosted by Marshall and Harper Creek. The Cardinals compiled 32 points and finished fifth in the overall final standings. Top finishers for Coldwater were number one singles player Noah Waterbury and the number three doubles team of Lu Lebron and Jett Galloway as they were both third.
Coming in fifth place with two wins each on the day were number two singles Kyle Sheppard, number four singles Miguel Gutierrez, the number two doubles team of Grey Skudlarick and Sam Westgate and the number four doubles team of Alex Hartman and Ryan Sturgeon. Coldwater will compete at the regionals next Friday at Sturgis.
