ORLAND, IN (WTVB) – A 67-year-old Orland man was arrested by the Indana State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Friday following a ten-month child exploitation investigation.
Stephen Paul Buzzard was taken into custody on 6 counts of possession of child pornography.
The investigation began in January after a tip was received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. In late August, a search warrant was issued for the Buzzard residence at 100 Lane 251 in Lake Pleasant. Based on the investigation, the Steuben County Prosecutor’s Office filed charges and issued an arrest warrant early Friday. Buzzard was arrested by police in Cromwell and was lodged in the Noble County Jail, where he will remain until transferred to the Steuben County Jail.
