PARMA, MI (WTVB) – In high school volleyball Saturday, Bronson took first place at the Parma Western Invitational.
Bronson beat Ann Arbor Huron, Brooklyn Columbia Central, and Athens in pool play, then defeated Parma Western 29-25 and 25-22 in the Gold Division semifinals, before beating Battle Creek St. Philip in three games in the finals (18-25, 25-22, 15-13)

The Coldwater 7th grade A volleyball team hosted a tournament Saturday and lost in the Finals to Linden Grove. In pool play, Coldwater beat Pennfield, Vicksburg, and Bronson, then beat Hastings in the semifinals.
On the day the cardinals were lead by Eli Foley at the service line 51-56 with 28 aces, Claire Hawver 23-29 7 aces, Dakota Allen 27-32 5 aces, Zoie Wohlgamuth 19-21 1 ace, Avery Paarlburg 16-22 3 aces, Grace Riley 18-24 with 5 aces, Mya Costello 8-11 1 ace, Miah Taylor 3-5 1 ace, and Alexis Rock 9-11 serving.
The 7th grade A team record now stands at 10-6-1 on the year
