COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Jeannie’s Diner in downtown Coldwater has been closed due to a major renovation of the cooking area this week, but don’t worry. It is scheduled to reopen Monday after crews installed a new grill and kitchen.
The brick wall under the plaster on the east side of the restaurant was also exposed during this week’s work.
The restaurant has been known by many names including Irma’s since it opened in 1911. It was originally known as Harry’s Ice Cream over 100 years ago.
