BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Fire Department has announced they have received funds donated in the memory of Mary Jean Modert who passed away October 9, 2019 at the age of 92.
Fire officials say the funds will be used to improve the safety of the Bronson community by purchasing emergency medical equipment.
Mary and Lyle Modert were married for 60 years before he passed away in 2006.
She worked for 17 years at Bronson Reel and 25 years between Precision Products and Precision Tube in Burr Oak before retiring in 1986. She was a member of the Coldwater First Baptist Church and the Bronson American Legion Auxiliary.
