COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County Board of Commissioners Chair Ted Gordon presented a plaque and there were goodbyes for outgoing County Commissioner Don Vrablic during Tuesday’s meeting.
Gordon said Vrablic was instrumental in the merger of what is now ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital and saving the pension plan for county employees after the Great Recession.
Since Vrablic and his wife are moving outside of the district he represents, he will be leaving the board officially this Friday.
County commissioners have 30 days from Friday to appoint his replacement.
