Richard J. Heise, 91, of Quincy, passed away Tuesday,
October 22, 2019 at Hillsdale Hospital.
A private memorial service will be held
at a later date. Cremation services have
been provided by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Richard was born April 5, 1928 in Owosso, MI to Robert &
Elsa (Riege) Heise. He served in both
the US Army and the US Navy during the Korean War. Richard married Doris “Dee” (Clark) Kane on
June 23, 1989 in Coldwater.
Richard worked at the Coldwater Regional Center for over 25
years and also worked with Blanchard Excavating. He was a member of the
American Legion, the Eagles and the Moose Lodge.
Richard was an avid outdoorsman who loved
hunting and fishing. He was a skilled woodworker, crafting a variety of items,
and loved to ballroom dance.
Richard is survived by his wife Dee, 4 step children and 2
step grandchildren.
He was preceded in
death by his daughter Gretchen Heise, 1 brother and 1 sister.
