UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – In girls high school volleyball, Union City split a couple of matches in their final home event of the season. It was the last time that seniors Sydney Markley, Lyndsey Katz and Logan Allen would play on their home court in a Charger volleyball uniform.
The Chargers lost to Mendon 3-0 (6-25, 15-25, 12-25) but defeated Adrian 3-1 (20-25, 25-20, 26-24, 26-24).
Jaydin Coyer had 15 digs and two aces for the Chargers. Kassandra Kohsmann recorded 19 kills, Hope Schley had 11 digs, Emma Dexter had 22 assists and 10 kills and Logan Allen had 20 assists, 11 kills and eight digs.
