COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch Area Lions Club “Lights of Love” project will be held for a second year during the upcoming holiday season.
Wade Adams from the Lions Club said the first year of the project in 2018 was a big success as 84 trees were purchased.
Sponsorships for the “Lights of Love” Christmas trees which will be on display in the southwest corner of the Four Corners Park in downtown Coldwater are being sold by Lions Club members for $100.
All proceeds will be directed to the local Lions Club and be used to assist those in Branch County with the purchase of vision & hearing aids as well as funding diabetes education and prevention.
Anyone interested in purchasing a tree can fill out the form that was in this week’s Shopper’s Guide or they can go to the Lions Club Facebook page.
The tree lights will be turned on in a special ceremony December 7 in conjunction with the Coldwater Holiday Parade.
