BUTLER TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – Two persons were injured Wednesday when a pair of vehicles collided at the intersection of Clarendon and Litchfield Roads.
The Branch County Sheriff’s Department reports the crash happened just after 12:00 noon when a 2006 Chrysler Town and Country van driven by 75-year-old Donna Miller of Litchfield failed to stop for a stop sign and collided with a northbound 2001 Chevy Silverado driven by 55-year-old Robert Richardson of Albion.
Both drivers were taken to nearby hospitals. One went to Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall and the other to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital but the Sheriff’s Department news release did not indicate which driver went where.
The driver who was taken to ProMedica was later flown by helicopter to a nearby medical facility.
Deputies were assisted by LifeCare Ambulance as well as the Litchfield and Quincy Fire Departments.
