THREE RIVERS, MI (WTVB) – The former director for a nonprofit agency in Three Rivers has entered into a plea bargain agreement with the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office after he was originally charged with embezzlement last July.
The Three Rivers Commercial News reports Randall Norton entered a guilty plea last Thursday in St .Joseph County Circuit to a lesser charge of larceny greater than $200 but less than $1,000.
Norton was originally accused of allegedly embezzling nearly $20,000 from Three Rivers Area Mentoring which is an organization that focuses on 1-on-1 mentor/student relationships.
The charge was filed after an investigation by the Three Rivers Police Department.
