BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – The Kellogg Community College Board of Trustees voted Wednesday night to extend an offer of employment to Dr. Adrien L. Bennings to become the college’s sixth president.
She is currently the Vice President for Finance and Administration at Clovis Community College in Clovis, New Mexico.
Bennings was selected to succeed retiring President Mark O’Connell. He will be leaving K.C.C. at the end of the year after four years as president and 29 years of total service at the College.
Bennings is expected to begin January 1, 2020.
Following the offer of employment, the Board and Bennings will negotiate a contract, which will come to the Board for consideration during a special meeting scheduled on December third.
There were 54 applications for the job from around the country. The Pauly Group was hired by the board to help with the search.
