COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – At St. Charles Borromeo School in Coldwater, the Student Council is collecting names, items, and monetary donations for shipping holiday packages overseas to troops who will be away from their families this Christmas season.
Last week, the Coldwater American American Legion Auxiliary Unit 52 donated $100 toward the effort to help with the cost of postage.
The St. Charles Borromeo Student Council’s goal is to send at lease 20 boxes of needed items to troops serving overseas.
Over the past few years the Student Council has shipped well over 100 care packages.
